The Lamb of God--Jesus, Eucharistic Fount of Mercy "I Am the Resurrection and the Life" (Jn 11:25)

The glorious resurrection of our Lord continues in the glory of this most Blessed Sacrament, because this is where our Risen Savior dwells, pouring out His life, His light, and His love to all who come into His Presence. This is the Easter Sacrament because the Eucharist makes present all the Paschal Mysteries of Christ, and is the completion of the Paschal Mysteries of His life, death, and resurrection. The Eucharist is our Risen Lord, where all the power of His resurrection flows out to all who come into His Eucharistic Presence, increasing within us His very image and likeness. Jesus is alive today in the Blessed Sacrament--living, loving and calling us to Himself. "Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world!" (Jn 1:29). Jesus, the Paschal Lamb, is worthy and infinitely deserving of our unceasing adoration, for He is the Divine Victim slain for our salvation, Who continues to immolate Himself in the Holy Eucharist: "the Paschal banquet in which Christ is consumed, the mind filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us" (Vatican II). John heard a voice crying out from heaven, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive honor, glory and praise" (Rev 5:12). Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is worthy of the unceasing Adoration of humanity for all that He has done for our salvation. John saw the people going before the Lamb on the Throne, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, day and night "without pause" (Rev 4:8). From the Lamb there flowed a river of grace and love that "healed all the nations" (Rev 22:1, 2). This is the power, the value and the importance of your Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration. Your sacrifice will heal all the nations! God's Merciful Love! "The Paschal Mystery [of the Eucharist] is Christ at the summit of the revelation of the inscrutable mystery of God. It is precisely then that the words pronounced in the Upper Room are completely fulfilled: 'He who has seen me has seen the Father.' In fact, Christ, whom the Father 'did not spare' for the sake of man and who in his Passion and in the torment of the Cross did not obtain human mercy, has revealed in his Resurrection the fullness of the love that the Father has for him, and in him, for all people. 'He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.' "While the Polish nun, Sister Faustina Kowalska, was praying before the Blessed Sacrament, our Lord revealed Himself to her! There were pink and white rays of Divine light emanating from His Sacred Heart, radiating throughout the entire chapel. Whenever someone came into the chapel for a visit, these divine rays would go forth from Jesus and encircle the whole world. Jesus explained that each person coming before Him in the Blessed Sacrament represented all humanity and that every man, woman and child on the face of the earth experiences a new effect of His goodness, grace, love and mercy for each holy hour made in His divine Presence." Through Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration with exposition we answer Jesus--love for Love, and He unleashes His rays of healing upon us, our families and the whole world! In the words of Jesus to St. Mary Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament: "I desire that Adoration take place for the intention of imploring Mercy for the world." Are you willing to make a sacrifice--by spending one Holy Hour each week with Jesus--so that your parish may give Him the glory of having Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration?
